Learning GCP while contributing to open source around lakehouse.
Nightly dbt run: unique and not_null on order_id both pass. Still seeing null product_category in Looker for yesterday's partition. Model is incremental merge on order_id. I suspect late-arriving dimension rows. What tests or patterns catch this in dbt?
Getting SettingWithCopyWarning on a line that filters then assigns a new column: It works and the values look right in this case. Is the warning ever actually safe to ignore, or does that habit come back to bite you?
