These terms apply when you use lakebench.in (“Lakebench”) or buy a Lakebench Pro pass. By using Lakebench or completing a purchase, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Lakebench is owned and operated by Hunnurji Rao, an individual based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Hunnurji Rao. “You” means the person using Lakebench.
Lakebench is an online learning and practice platform for data engineering. It offers lessons, SQL, Python, Pandas, and PySpark practice problems that run in your browser, mock interviews, a 45-day study plan, a community forum, and an AI mentor that gives hints. It is a learning tool. It is not a certification, a degree, or a job placement service, and we do not guarantee any job or interview outcome.
You need to be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. If you are under 18, you may use Lakebench only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must make any purchase.
You can browse and practice some content without an account. If you create one, give accurate details, keep your login secure, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed it. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person; please do not share a Pro account.
Core foundational lessons, the studio sandbox, beginner practice problems, days 1 to 12 of the 45-day plan, and one mock interview round are free. A Pro pass unlocks advanced modules, the full problem library, all 45 days of the plan, unlimited mock interviews, a higher daily AI mentor limit, and the full readiness score, for the length of the pass. Pro access is checked on our server for your signed-in account.
Pro is sold as a one-time pass, not a subscription. Current passes:
We may change prices or what each plan includes in the future. A change never affects a pass you have already paid for.
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR). For now, payments are arranged directly with us over WhatsApp: you message us, we share the payment details, and once we confirm your payment we activate Pro on your account by hand. We never ask for your card number, UPI PIN, or bank password.
A pass is charged once. It does not renew automatically, and you will never be charged again unless you choose to buy another pass. Buying while a pass is active adds the new days to your remaining time. When a pass ends, your account moves back to the free plan and your progress stays.
Coupon codes, when we issue them, apply only to the plans and dates stated with the code, cannot be exchanged for cash, and can be used once per account.
Pro is a digital service activated on your account after payment is confirmed, usually within minutes. There is nothing shipped. The details are in the shipping and delivery policy. Because a pass does not auto-renew, there is no subscription to cancel. Refunds, including for failed activation and duplicate charges, are covered in the refund and cancellation policy.

We may remove content or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If we close an account for reasons unrelated to a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of any active pass.
You own the code you write and the posts and comments you publish in the community. By posting in the community, you let us store and display that content on Lakebench so other members can read it. If you delete your account, your posts and comments stay in their threads so replies still make sense, but your name and username are removed from them. To have a specific post taken down, email us.
Lessons, problems, datasets, solutions, text, design, and the Lakebench name and logo belong to us. You may use them for your own learning. You may not copy, republish, or sell them without our written permission.
The AI mentor generates hints and explanations automatically. It can be wrong, so check anything important before relying on it. Do not enter personal, confidential, or company data into it, because your question is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate the answer (see the privacy policy).
We work to keep Lakebench running and correct, but it is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will always be available or error-free, or that automated grading will catch every mistake. We may change, add, or remove features over time.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost opportunities or lost data, arising from your use of Lakebench. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms as Lakebench changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will also show a notice on the site or email account holders. The terms in force when you buy a pass apply to that pass.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, please write to us first at hunnur.data@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it within 15 days. Any dispute that we cannot resolve will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
